We’re happy to announce a new program with the Winnipeg River Heritage Museum! Simply borrow a “passbook” from either branch of our library and use it to gain free entry (for you and your family) to the museum. The passbook is a special journal that you borrow from the library for a period of three weeks. In return for free admittance to the museum, we ask that you record your thoughts in the passbook as you explore the museum. The passbook will also contain some prompts (questions), if you’re not sure what to write. After your museum visit, return the passbook to the library so that we can pass it on to the next person. Over time, the passbook will contain everyone’s thoughts and observations, and maybe even some sketches? We can’t wait to see how this all turns out.
