New masks available for purchase

Masks Available at Your Local Library

Masks are a part of our everyday living now and in the near future.  ‘The CDC and World Health Organization recommend people wear a cloth mask in public when social distancing.

So how good is a good cloth mask? The best homemade cloth masks actually achieved better filtration (79 percent) than surgical masks (62 percent to 65 percent) in a peer-reviewed study at the Wake Forest Institute of Regenerative Medicine published in April.”

Library Allard now has masks for sale at a cost of $5 per mask.  The reusable masks are made of two layers of material. 100% Cotton Outer Layer, 96% Polyester/ 4% Spandex Inner Layer and adjustable straps to fit you properly.  It has an interior filter pocket (filter not included).  Features an integrated metal nose frame that adjusts to ensure a proper fit.  Protect yourself, your friends, and your community and support your library!

At present payment can only be made via etransfer to admin@allardlibrary.com , we can have them available for pickup like our books in a plastic grocery bag with your name on it at the front door.  This can also be available for Victoria Beach branch patrons with the same method of payment.

Once the library opens to the public again, it accepts cash, debit and etransfer for payment.  If you would like to make an etransfer to the library please send it to admin@allardlibrary.com
